Kenyan Craftspeople Model for Karen Walker’s Sunglasses Campaign

Karen Walker joined with the United Nations’ ITC Ethical Fashion initiative in order to create a range of pouches that accompany her sunglasses for Spring 2014. This campaign was taken to the next level as Karen Walker decided to include the Kenyan craftspeople (who made the pouches) as models to show off her sunglass range aiming to celebrate the work and creativity of Kenyan artists.

I think this is such a beautiful and different way to go about a fashion campaign. It’s a campaign that has a lot of life and meaning and I love it that Karen Walker took it that step further πŸ™‚
