For the latest cover story of Net-a-Porter’s The Edit, Miranda Kerr looks sizzling as she poses as a motorcycle babe. Wind blown hair, leather jackets and denim has her looking the part for this editorial.
This shoot was photographed by the amazing Chris Colls who has photographed her many of times and the magic between the photographer and the model through a lens is evident as usual.
Merry christmas! Hope you all had a wonderful christmas with loved ones and received lots of amazing gifts 🙂
To kick-start 2014 a few days early, I came across this shoot featured in Vogue Russia of the stunning Sasha Luss who I am currently obsessing with right now. She has definitely become the model of the moment featuring in many high fashion editorials and seemingly gracing more and more magazine covers.
This photoshoot I absolutely love of the platinum blonde beauty and I think this will be one of my top favourite editorials for 2014! I know its way to early to make such a claim of it being one of my ‘favourite’ but I just love it so much :p
The 2014 issue of Vogue Australia emerged just in time for the much awaited hot summer days (finally!) after days of pouring rain and constant cool temperatures here in Melbourne. This issue provides an overview of what to expect for the new year and I couldn’t be more excited for the new year of fashion! This fashion editorial was perfect to kick-start the year and I could barely contain my excitement for the long summer days at the beach after viewing these images of this beautiful tanned model in this ‘Sea Change’ editorial.
These images were photographed by Benny Horne for Vogue Australia January issue.
A great start to the new year with my idol Miranda Kerr gracing the cover of one of the most top-selling fashion magazines, Harper’s Bazaar Australia. This shoot was photographed by Terry Richardson and I knew right away it was photographed by him due to his trademark white background. He is never afraid to reveal almost anything to the camera making his work very raw and sometimes intense but I love his ability to capture the true beauty of the models without having to over do it with editing, lighting or much of a background.
Miranda in this shoot looked extremely chic, sexy and confident in her Victoria Beckham jacket, Saint Laurent jacket and in a Giorgio Armani suit. As Miranda is now the face of Swarovski, many Swarovski pieces were shown throughout this shoot making them the perfect accessory! Most of the attention (beauty wise) was drawn to her red pout and glossy locks making her look irresistible in her all-black wardrobe for the shoot.

While the heat is on for Australia, the autumn/winter collections start rolling in from the other side of the world, being light years ahead of us in the fashion industry.
This shoot I came across had me weak at the knees as I am in awe of the high fashion, high quality feel to it and the use of dark, warm colours highlighting a strong feminine touch. Even though I am ever so excited for the summer, this shoot is also making me excited to experiment with fashion during the colder seasons in 2014!
Ok, I had to make a post dedicated just to this Vogue Russia cover because I am in love with it.
When I first saw this I was captivated by this models beauty (She goes by the name of Sasha Luss, she has become my new favourite!) and the elegance that pours out from this cover. Her beautiful straight on gaze into the camera gives this cover strength, poise and the epitome of what high fashion really is. The way she has been styled is also impeccable and it will be a cover I’ll never forget…
Do you agree with me on this one? Is there a vogue cover that’s been your favourite? Share your thoughts with me here!
Look forward to reading my fashion bible once exams are over! This will definitely be a major treat for me after a stressful two weeks of hard work and study. I am looking forward to reading this because it’s the final issue of 2013 and what a year it has been in fashion world with many trends hitting my good books of styles I must portray on a day-to-day basis.
What are your thoughts on the current issue?

One of my favourite labels that we stock at Horse with No Name is Serpent & the Swan and the designers of this label are two sisters from Sydney. The girls were inspired by their childhood love of the animal kingdom and they both fascinated the dark, mystical concepts including the anatomy of creatures. This label creates women’s, men’s and androgyny collections with close attention to detail and the horse zipper heads, hand crafted trimmings and uniqueness in the garments are what makes this label stand out amongst the other Australian labels.
‘Lady Ermine’ is their upcoming A/W 2014 collection which has the influence of the renaissance and includes their signature style of dark, mystical concepts. This collection is absolutely stunning, so have a peek of what to expect for A/W 14′!
