Yes most runway shows I have been to I have loved but last nights runway show was the most amazing out of them all as it consisted of pretty much most of my favourite fashion designers all in one hit and the collections were impeccable… however the stand out collections for me were Ellery, Sass & Bide and Yeojin Bae.
These are the styles that I fell in love with and claimed its spot for my favourite collections for the night:
Seriously it was the best runway show. Look at how amazing the above styles are? I would wear them all in a heart beat 🙂
The experience I had over those couple of days was phenomenal and I am so incredibly lucky that I get to attend these! Going to be so sad when this week is over, had such a fantastic time 🙂 Below are a couple of quick snaps from the night and look how close I was!
If you attended any of the nights during fashion week, which was your favourite collection and what nights did you go? Would love to hear all about it!
Again, Karl Largerfeld has put on a spectacular runway show that will be remembered for many seasons to come and not in my wildest dreams would I have imagined a high fashion runway collection to be presented in a replica supermarket! Classic tweed jackets, suits and detailing remained its elegant and classic way while emphasizing that comfort (as seen in the footwear) can go a long way in high fashion and for when its time to go grocery shopping 😛 As some of you know I work in a supermarket myself however working in the CHANEL Shopping Centre would be totally ideal for me! Imagine the things you could buy! 😀
I also wanted to apologise for my lack of posting these past few weeks! I have been so busy! Currently studying and holding 2 jobs is crazy so please bear with me and keep following me! I’ll make sure I get to post as much as time allows me. Thank you for your patience so far however, means a lot!
Winter is coming…..Well, not really for us just yet in Australia but our summer is slowly transitioning into colder mornings, semi warm days and even colder nights which is making me super excited for the colder weather! You know why? Winter wardrobes are so much fun to play around with and shop for! This Burberry collection shown during London Fashion week reminds me of why winter/autumn are such exciting seasons as the collection predicts individuality, artistic influences and draping scarves and dresses while still tying the pieces together with the signature Burberry trench coat. And who said floral is just for spring? This collection proves that floral print and lots of colour can still make a splash in the colder season 🙂
Have a look through what stood out for me the most during this collection 🙂
Ok so the reason for my words, ‘Couture with a twist’ is to highlight my surprise to the combination of runners with gorgeous classic garments. I mean…who would have thought that a pair of runners could be paired so elegantly in a Chanel COUTURE collection? The master and genius of fashion, Karl Lagerfeld inspires me so much and this collection is yet another one of his masterpieces…he is never afraid to take it to the next level and push boundaries with fashion and this couture collection is a brilliant example of how amazing he really is.
This collection (as always) remains classic and timeless using a delicate colour palette consisting of pastel pink, green and blue and of course black and white which is a signature colour combination in the french fashion house.
Courtsey of Fashionising.com for these photos, I am sharing with you all my favourite looks that stood out for me the most and if there were particular looks that you also liked let me know! I love involving myself with other fashion lovers and a discussion about our favourite collection is a great way to spend my afternoon 😛
Thanks to Vogue Australia, the official VS fb page and other fashionable websites, I have been able to view the photos from the Victoria’s Secret runway show! This show will be aired in early December for the rest of the world to watch (I think a bit later for us Aussies) so in the meantime here are some of my favourite looks (and angels) from the show. I still miss Miranda Kerr like crazy though! She was definitely one of my favourites 😛
Who is/were your favourite Victoria’s Secret angel? Is there any year in particular that was your favourite? My favourite I would have to say was in 2008! I just remember the music, the choice of styling and the beauty looks stood out for me the most that year. Will this years Victoria’s Secret outshine the one in 2008 which I deem to be the best VS? Lets see!
So much to love about the Myer SS launch and its making me super excited for the Spring Summer season! So sick of the cold dreary days, bring on the heat and bring on the gorgeous summery dresses, tailored cropped pants, delicate tops and sandal heels! Here I will provide a brief overview of my favourite designers and my favourite looks off the runway!
My favourite designers of this launch would have to be:
Yeojin Bae – YB J’Aime
Sarah Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton – Sass & Bide
Prue Rainey – Cue
The key trends I have been spotting is the white on white trend. This gives a very refereshing and pure look making this perfect for a sunny day.
Animal print and structured layers is seen to be very popular too!
For the men I see a lot of blue on white going on giving more of a pop of colour and away from the classic black and white suit.
What were your favourite looks of the season? Any key trends that you are keen to try for the Spring/Summer? Let me know via comment!
